Vintage Spool Mixed Media Art Kit
A little vintage. A little shabby. A little unexpected. And a whole lot of creative fun. 
Originally created as my retreat project for Dina’s Birthday Bash, this mixed-media spool project was such fun that I knew it needed to become a Taterbuggin’ kit!
You’ll start with our 5x7 wooden spool shape and transform it using layers of texture, vintage-inspired papers, soft fibers, lace, buttons, tags and other charming little details. The beauty of this project is that there’s no need to make yours exactly like mine. Layer it, tuck things in, move things around and make it completely your own.
Your kit includes the wooden 5x7 spool base along with a curated assortment of coordinating mixed-media goodies similar to those used in my original project—papers, fibers, lace, fabric, buttons, tags and embellishments. Because these kits include hand-selected and vintage-inspired elements, individual pieces, colors and patterns may vary slightly from kit to kit. That just means no two finished spools will be exactly alike!
